Miles Franklin was founded by David and Andrew Schectman. Our vision was to offer a wide variety of bullion and numismatic products, extensive broker expertise, and fair pricing.
Unlike traditional coin dealers, Miles Franklin is both a full service company and a low overhead discount broker. We believe that fair pricing plus extensive client education and support can and should exist hand-in-hand.”

1 oz. Gold American Eagle Coin
The dime-sized 1/10 Ounce Gold Eagle is one of the most popular small gold coins in the United States. The face of the coin is Saint-Gaudens’ Lady Liberty, while the reverse has the namesake Eagle, the coins troy weight, and nominal face value of $5. While containing a full 1/10 troy Ounce of gold, the eagle weighs a bit more than 1/10 troy Ounce, as it is coined in the traditional US gold alloy of 91.67% gold, with the remaining mix in copper and silver. This makes the gold stronger and less likely to scuff from mishandling. This is the 2018 mintage of this mainstay coin of the precious metals industry since its introduction in 1986.
1 oz. Silver American Eagle Coin
The 2019 American Silver Eagle is the newest minting of the wildly popular Family of Eagles products. This coin features the obverse of the “Walking Liberty” coin of the past and the reverse features a modified US Seal and Motto, along with the purity of .999. The coin is nominally listed as $1 USD and is considered legal tender.
