One of the highlights of my recent trip to Libertopia was having the pleasure of finally getting to meet Jeff Berwick of The Dollar Vigilante in person.
For those still unaware of Berwick and his work, he’s been one of the more outspoken and popular speakers against the increasing intervention by government in our lives. And in addition to being well ahead of the curve in both the cryptocurrency and precious metals markets, Berwick is also the founder of Anarchapulco, his own free-market themed festival each year in Acapulco, Mexico.
In fact it was interesting how at Libertopia there were a lot of people still talking about this year’s Anarchapulco event, even months after the festival had passed. There was a considerable buzz among those in the free market community, and it was exciting to talk to Jeff in person and hear how he’s already planning an even bigger and better event for next year.
I was also fortunate to be able to sit in on an interview he did with Danny Sessom of The Crypto Show, and if you’ve never heard Berwick speak (or even if you have), you’ll likely enjoy hearing what he had to say.
Gone are the days where no one is noticing what the government is doing. Jeff has done an incredible job in shining light on the problems in an engaging and charismatic way, while also (and perhaps more importantly) identifying solutions and creating an event that actually brings those who value freedom and liberty together in one place.
If you haven’t done so, I highly recommend taking a look at some of the events from this year’s festival, and also considering attending the 2019 version. Which I’m already planning on being at.
I do believe that we’re on the verge of a special point in history, where the people are rapidly banding together in a quest to regain their liberty from a government gone astray. Berwick has become a key figure in helping to facilitate this development, which is why it was a real pleasure to finally meet him in person, and begin getting excited about next year’s Anarchapulco Festival.
